Two years since we bet the pharm Bumbling lessons of health and harm Missing deeply the world of yore, A new year of tiger is on the prowl With its purr and promising growl That we hope will rip a roar! Our jungle isn’t for the gelatin-spined For timid lambs or the flighty kind It favors spirits that walk brisker From Hobbes or Tigger, what we learn Is that sometimes when we tumble or turn It’s how we bounce with claw & whisker Our habits, like cubs, may start fluffy Then lair by lair get more scruffy We’ll simply need to tame our gripes Let this be a year we find our source Feast on 365 days as a mane course And have this kitty earn its stripes!
